The 20-year veteran and 2004 points champion will start in the 28th position on Sunday, mainly on the basis of his disappointing 40th in Saturday's race. Busch's day ended early when he was tapped in the left rear by Erik Jones and spun into the inside retaining wall, a hit that damaged his left-front enough not to continue.
